What if we changed our life routines in 2023! The transition to the new year and often the opportunity to make good resolutions. In our sedentary lives and our rhythms of wonder women with our busy schedules, we often think that a sports activity would be a well-deserved break, an opportunity to recharge the batteries, to take time for ourselves, to improve our physical condition, its silhouette and to forge a warrior's mind!
So, if like many, you are thinking about it but the time is never right, I have crucial information to give you, it will never be the right time! And yes ! Get started and you won't be able to do without it ! With a little organization, a good dose of willpower to tap into this change of year and by being reasonable and progressive in your practice, you will get there!
Say goodbye to all your limiting beliefs! Anything is possible when you set realistic and time-bound goals.
To do this, use the SMART method: plan sports objectives that are SPECIFIC (clearly defined), MEASURABLE (quantifiable), ACHIEVABLE (make sure you have all the necessary resources), REALISTIC (relevant and with added value for you), TIME-BASED (defined in the weather).
The important thing when starting out is to be objective and lucid about our state of form and our condition. A person who has never practiced sport will not start training similar to a sportswoman who has practiced intensely in the past.
Start with small sessions of 10 to 15 minutes. Better two periods of practice of 15 minutes per week on a fixed day than a long tedious training x which will prove exhausting and will only be renewed from time to time. You boost your mind by sticking to it. Set sports routines at the start of the year and the best way to have a regular and effective sports practice afterwards!
Invest in quality equipment and textiles adapted to your sport . It will boost you! It is very often the first step that gives the smile and the desire to get started. It is important to feel beautiful in a comfortable and technical sportswear outfit and to have accessories at hand for muscle building and stretching. This is the beginning of a new adventure where you will discover physical and mental resources!
Choose an activity that makes you vibrate and gives you the smile! Starting a sport is not without fatigue and aches, but it is easier to accept these little ailments when the time of practice is playful and pleasant. Avoid following fads or your group of friends, listen to your heart and your desires! Outdoor, indoor, individual or collective sport, solo or in a club, we are all different! To each his flow, to each his stride :-)! If you start alone, good news you will no doubt make beautiful encounters! So listen up, now is your time!
Resting between two sessions is part of training! Without recovery management, there will be no progress and you risk injury!
Likewise, be indulgent and mindful of your pace of life . We are not top athletes. Sport should not take over your life but make it better. Adapt your training if you have peaks of activity in your profession, busy weekends or any other event that would change your daily rhythm for a given time.
Take care of your sleep but also of your plate! And yes ! We recognize a sportswoman by her plate! If I spend more, my energy needs increase! This may be an opportunity to discover new recipes, to put color on your plates by taking inspiration from the many books that exist on the subject.
