The Mama Made is the result of a wonderful collaboration between a mother and her son.
Irini (the mum) is based in Greece. Naturally, she's the pro crochet tech and has worked on all-time classic doily commissions. Irini is full of ideas and energy, and needed a new challenge.
This is how London-based Michail (the son) found an interesting way to channel his talent. A fashion designer - he's worked on window displays and styling for brands like Burberry and Vivienne Westwood - he's the style master behind the brand (or so he thinks, according to Irini). Together they have teamed up to create slow fashion and lifestyle collections that blend traditional craft techniques seen with fresh eyes.
Aiming to bring a little familiar and soft comfort to our contemporary lifestyle, they are committed to producing handmade, eco-friendly, 100% natural, smart and comfortable fashion accessories.
